to the 2024 CELeN Meeting at the KSCE 2024 CONVENTION
Dear CELeN Members,
The Korean Society of Civil
Engineers (KSCE) is delighted to announce the KSCE 2024 CONVENTION (2024 CONFERENCE & CIVIL EXPO), which will
take place from October 16-18, 2024,
at the ICC JEJU, Jeju, Korea. We warmly invite civil engineers from diverse
fields and countries to come together, participate, and contribute to
meaningful discussions under the slogan, “In harmony with human civilization,
we are civil engineers.”
Jeju Island, located southwest of
the Korean Peninsula, is Koreas largest and most popular tourist destination,
designated as a special tourist zone. The island is renowned for Hallasan
Mountain at its center, surrounded by 368 parasitic cones known as "Oreum."
Jeju boasts nearly thirty beautiful beaches, including Iho Tewoo, Samyang,
Hyeopjae, Geumneung, and Gwakji, making it a picturesque and vibrant setting
for our convention.
As part of the convention, we are
pleased to invite you to participate in the
KSCE Civil Engineering Leader’s Network (CELeN) Meeting, scheduled from 16:30 to 17:50 on Thursday, October 17,
2024. This year’s meeting will focus on the theme, “My Studies in Civil and
Environmental Engineering in Korea.” It is a key event for the CELeN Student
Chapter, offering an excellent opportunity to share knowledge through
presentations and foster networking among international civil engineers
studying and working in Korea.

on your My Page by September 25, 2024 (Wednesday). International students who
register by the deadline will enjoy complimentary registration, which includes
lunches, a convention kit, an invitation to the International Dinner on October
17.
