Invitation to the
2023 CELeN Meeting at the KSCE 2023 CONVENTION
Dear CELeN Members:
The Korean Society
of Civil Engineers (KSCE) is pleased to announce the KSCE 2023 CONVENTION (2023 Conference & Civil Expo) to be held during
October 18-20, 2023 at the Yeosu
Expo Convention Center, Yeosu, Korea. We invite all civil engineers across
various fields and different countries to unite, participate and create a new
chapter of discussion under the slogan, “K-Smart Civil Engineering for the
Future!”
The city of Yeosu
is located in Jeollanam-do, in the Southern part of Korea. Due to its appeal as
an international ocean resort and tourist city, as well as its close proximity
to the Yeocheon Industrial Complex, Yeosu has seen much development during the
past several decades. The city is known for its breathtaking ocean views that
can be appreciated by the cable car ride. Additionally, it is a touristic
destination famous for the food, its aquarium and several island that can be
visited.
On the occasion of
the convention, I would like to invite you to participate in the KSCE Civil Engineering Leader’s Network
(CELeN) Meeting scheduled at 10:00 ?
12:20 on Friday, October 20, 2023. This year, the CELeN Meeting will be
held under the theme “Smart material and construction
for the Future of Civil Engineering”. This meeting is one of the key
activities of CELeN Student Chapter, sharing knowledge with presentations on
the chosen theme, and networking among international civil engineers working
and studying in Korea.

KSCE English Website (http://eng.ksce.or.kr) and register
through the Events Participation in My Page by October 11th, 2023 (Wednesday). Complimentary
registration to the convention including Lunches, Convention Kit, and an invitation
to the international dinner on October 19, 2023 will be provided to the
international students who register through the website by the due date.
